HK trip Year2006

back from HONGKONG~ was away from home from 23sept to 27sept. remember i say initially we were going to BANGKOK, THAILAND. BUt due to the military riots in BANGKOK, we changed plan to hongkong instead. We have already bought the air tickets to bangkok, using AirAsia plane. But due to the military riots, we wanted a refund. BUT couldnt, only can have the credit share. MEANING: we still got to fly their aircraft. AirAsia dont have a flight from SG to HK. the nearest they have is.... Kuala Lumpur to Macau. Our only choice...... !!

And, we then bought air ticket from JETSTAR, flying HK back to SG on the 27sept. the decision of changing our destination was just TWO days before our departure!! It is soo sudden loh! our transportation plan was to....

1. take a bus to Johor Bahru
2. take a coach to Kuala Lumpur
3. take AirAsia plane to Macau
4. take a ferry to HongKong
5. then finally take Jetstar back to Singapore.

Now, i will write about my itinenary of my memorable trip. I did wrote a diary then, okay!! LOL.

Day 1, 23 Sept.
- meet at kranji at 8am. as usual, we are late. 8.30am then we all reached.
- took bus 170 and enter Johor Bahru.
- bought coach ticket to Kuala Lumpur at Ringgit $30, Super Nice bus.
- went to eat Chicken Rice. the stupid shop got COCKROACH!! Yucks! and the waitress still so rudely say me: " What is there to be scare about? " Liews. i am her customer leh!! But anyway, the Chix rice is not bad.
- went to "report" to the counter to take us to sit the coach. surprised that the person allowed us to take a cab to the coach terminal instead of taking a van. The usual way is to take a van there.
- search for the counter to report at the terminal, then board the SuperNice Bus. set off at 11am!! =)) KL, here we come~~
- reach KL at 4.30pm. Yawns. Sleep alot.
- eat A&W, which is no longer available in SG! curly fries and root beer float! yummy.
- went Chinatown and bought perfume with shan. at Ringgit $20. Of cos, fake de lah. But how often will i use it?
- eat fried kuay tiao. =)) but not very nice leh.
- took a cab to KLCC to take the airbus to Low Cost Carrier Terminal(LCCT), as told by the idiot AirAsia guy. after we alighted the cab, then we realised we supposed to go KLC, not KLCC. Stupid AirAsia guy, bluff us or give us wrong Information. SHIT HIM.
- lost our way there. and took another cab to the LCCT directly at 730pm. Rush our way there.
- reached there at 845pm. No money left. due to the cab fare. LOL.
- Check-in at the counter. went in the Transit area and wait for the plane. the seatings is first-come-first-serve basis. Got to rush in!! Haha! Kiasu trademark. but elderly and children got privilege to get in first. So considerate. emm.. the plane is soo COOL. =)) flying at 1030pm.
- sleep in plane. neck super tired. the smell of the food is soo tempting. other pax bought food onboard. we didnt. cos no more ringgit!!LOL. see thru' the window. the nightview.. is WAH.. cannot see anything. dark dark de. got stars! =))

Day 2, 24 Sept.
- Macau at 2.15am. Customs very strict. took a long time to check the passports and blah.. finally went thru'. tried looking for brochures. But found NOTHING. information counter not very useful. and the staff disappear after a while.
- Ask the security guard instead. Realised that Macau International Airport is not at Macau. took a cab of HK$60 to get to a curry noodle store. While, in the store, saw many teenagers walking on the streets. seems as though after clubbing. Later got two butch with one pretty girl. Their faces red red de.. think after clubbing also.
- After we left the mee store, immediate at the side is one club. LOL. look rather modern. =)) we went to walk around. exploring around before getting to the ferry terminal. Took alot of pics. The casinos damn beautiful lah!! went to some tourist attraction. Got roman empire and tang dynasty and so on.. BEAUITFUL~
- around 5am lerh. walk our way to the ferry terminal. Look kinda like an airport. bought tickets and took 6.30am boat. Again, we kiasu. see people queue for the entrance, we went to queue as well. =p
- the boat is so dizzy lah. shaky. that my writing in my diary.. is YUCKs. ugly. haha~
-reached HONGKONG at 730am. =)) grins* we walked for hours in search for hotels. difficult to find loh. finally found one. standford hotel. Expensive. but alright to us. Cos we, 4 people shared a room for TWO!! =x we smuggle in. hahhaa~ OMG.

we then walked around Mongkok area. Lalala~ after that, didnt write anymore diary. NO TIME! shop. eat. and sleep. WOOHOO~ time is never enough. and the people are ah... like rushing here and there~ and most importantly. there have ALOT OF HANDSOME BOIS. CUTE BOIS. AHHHHH~~ LENG ZAI ALOT ALOT~ LOL. LENG LUI also alot!! haha~ GOOD SHOES huh, shan. LOL!! inside joke. =P

and yah. we saw posters of Edison at the pillar in the MTR!!! AHHH.. i couldnt take it. SOO EXCITED and HAPPY. went to take pictures with 'HIM'. =)) though, not the real edison, but the poster is enough to make me happy. GRINS*

and we saw a star there. as in MING XING. the one acted in the VAMPIRE show de.. exactly as how he look in the drama series. and yah.. we went to EEG. the music company TWINS worked in. cos SK need to collect something in behalf for his friend. WOO. the view from the office is soo beautiful lah.

went a few streets to find the TWINS new album. cos they got two type of cover. One of the cover is nicer. and they got two free posters. So i went to find many CD stores for it. Many places either have the CD cover i wanted, but no more posters. or have posters, but no CD cover i wanted. Some even dont have anymore posters or CDs left. finally found it on the last day! PHEW. it is meant for Baobei de. though, i also dunno if SG came out already or not. cos if come out lerh, she sure buy lerh loh. BUT i bought it anyway, if she already have it, then i keep it for myself loh.
Luckily SG have yet to have the new album. =)) its title is 'HO HOO TAN'. =))

actually, to think of it. i not really bought alot of stuff lah. but i spent alot of money on food. the dessert is damn nice~! 'XU LIU SHAN' is the shop. super delicious! =)) and the 'DOU JIANG YOU TIAO' also very nice. we ate at a cafe near our hotel. the 'DOU JIANG' is thick and nice~ yummy. and on the last day, shan's HK friend brought us to a tim sum restaurant to eat. some of the dishes are yummy yummy nice! However, thru' out the whole trip, i didnt managed to eat delicious 'CHEE CHEONG FAN'.. sian. i still think the BEST 'chee cheong fan' i have eaten, is in GENTING~ i mish it alot.

the most EXPENSIVE thing i have spent on, is a LEVIS jacket. omg. bought that and i have no more money left. that i have to withdraw money.. SIAN. it is really very nice. worth the money, i think. considered quite long before buying it. And, it is not for myself. for myself, think i wouldnt bear to spend that amount of money. it is bought for someone. =)) as a present. birthday prezzie.

and yah.. alot of things happened. shan's boi, derek was been stopped by police there. and got checked. Luckily, got bring passports out. else, we gotta be locked up. the police there, like nothing to do.. walk here and there. scary. and we saw a vendor with no license de that kind. roadside stall.. selling bags. saw police, and he immediately push his cart away. LOL. scare kanna caught. hahas. interesting.

and yah.. on our last day, we saw police in another room on the same level as us. dunno what happened there. shan ask the manager or smthg. then he just talk her that someone faint.. it is like... -.-"" so fake lah. if it is only someone faint, how come when we go down, only got so many police cars. and no ambulance. LOL!

and yah.. we still shopped on the last day. and rushed our way to the airport. phew! lucky not late. i dont like Jetstar plane. smaller. more uncomfortable. and the stewardess are not all friendly. overall, still AirAsia better. but if gg to HK, no choice, only got Jetstar. LOL. for budget planes lah. lols~

after we touched down in SG at about 11.50pm. i bought vodka again. =)) using SK name. cos i still cannot buy liquor. i not yet 18!!! sian. but lucky SK not buying. LOL. i bought the vodka peach. new flavor. still got another one. vodka grapefruit. but guess got to wait till the next trip bah! =))

went to stayover at derek's place with SHAN. me being lightbulb again. sian. and yah.. couldnt find my wallet. thought lost. then i paranoid. saded. but luckily, it is with SK. PHEW! =))

thats all i can remembered. =)) i enjoyed my trip. i mish HK. i want to go back. so do my friends. LOL! we all mish HK. but pocket.. no more money. LOL. in total, we each have spent 1000++. we got to save again, to go another trip. perhaps to somewhere nearer.. cos no money. haha!
